Consultant (Network Storage Engineer and Administrator)

Configure servers, storage systems, compute nodes, provision and allocate storage to server assets (VM, Windows and UNIX based) including assignment of RAID level, LUN and volume configurations. Will troubleshoot and fix network and storage related issues to improve quality of service (QoS) for users. Will configure and manage RAID groups, storage pools and storage tiering to achieve performance and capacity planning. Will install, configure and manage brocade SAN Switches, add new switch to an existing fabric, carryout switch migrations and routine switch firmware and storage arrays microcode update for better operational performance. Will provide services to clients located throughout the U.S. Must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or engineering and five (5) years of progressive experience in storage engineering which include experience in the tasks listed above.
